Mood: The Happy App

Mental Health

Relative to mental health, one area of well-being that impacts our life dramatically is happiness. For this project, I wanted to examine dynamic content and survey data to understand patterns of what makes people happy. We generate information about our well being on a daily basis over time so I created a concept for an app that would read and track this information then display it visually to monitor our happiness. Areas of happiness are based on sensory, social and audio information.

In addition to the data visualization, there are PUSH notifications that encourage offline engagement. When happiness readings get too low, the app will send notifications to the user. This is linked to a mood ring that will also vibrate or change color indicating that a boost is needed.
